It helps, but it ruins the paint too, if is in open space without cover

What beautiful cruising grounds. Seeing your boat brings back memories to me. It was 1958 and my dad I and a salesman were sailing a Mark II in Newport Beach CA. It was my first sail and there was little wind. We ended up buying a dinghy instead, but it is a beautiful mini cruiser and I often wondered where it would have taken us had we purchased her instead.
